This would be a great core for restoration. The unit appears intact besides it being non-working. Shipping is $10 to anywhere in the US. When 12 volts is applied, the motor will draw about 2.3 amps and I can feel it trying to push mast up, but nothing happens.

It is beyond my repair skills, so up for sale it goes. This piece is NOT working, which surprising given its excellent appearance. It appears the mast is stuck in down position and motor unable to push it up. For sale is an original GM power antenna from a 1985 through 1996 era product including Chevrolet PontiAc, Olds, Buick and CadillAc.

It is part number 22048909 based on a sticker the mast housing and 22048890 embossed plastic of motor. The mast is intact and stuck in the down position wires connections are all nice.
